Hi, my name is Sarah and this is a site about my first trip to Europe. It never seemed like a big deal to me to go to Europe on my own and join up with a tour. When I got home and told people about my trip I was always surprised that they would usually say, "Oh I couldn't possibly go by myself." And I'd always say,"But, I wasn't by myself, I was with a great group of people with a personal guide to Italy."

My first trip to Europe, finally!! I've wanted to go all my life and I'm finally here! I looked into many tour companies and was always disappointed to see how much more a single person had to pay. Than I was watching one of Rick Steves' Europe Through the Back Door programs and I thought I should check out his site. Sure enough I found his tours with no extra fees for singles. It was destiny I'm sure of it!

I feel confident enough to travel on my own now, but if there's a Rick Steves tour in the country I'm going to, I'll be on that tour without a doubt.

The tour allows you so much more time to just enjoy your experience. You don't have to waste time looking for a hotel that doesn't blow your budget. The details are all considered and taken care of. One of my favorite things was breezing by long lines at museums as if I was VIP. Plus with the tour you've automatically made 25 new friends!
